AP Thailand Donates 10 Badminton Courts to Bangkok to Enhance Community Life

On February 12, 2024, AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited, represented by Visanu Suchatilampang, Thipawan Sirikun, and Pongnalit Jansanguan, officially handed over 10 badminton courts to the city of Bangkok at the Benjakitti Sports Center. The Governor of Bangkok, Chadchart Sittipunt, accepted the courts on behalf of the city. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of life and give back to the community by providing public spaces for sports, helping to reduce social inequalities, and offering everyone the opportunity to lead empowered lives.

During the event, Visanu Suchatilampang stated, "Our goal at AP is to empower everyone by providing opportunities for a good quality of life. We recognize the importance of exercise spaces that will sustainably enhance the well-being of people, including those in communities around AP headquarters. With these newly upgraded facilities, which meet safety standards and are fully open to the public, we are pleased to officially transfer these badminton courts to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for public use.”

The support includes the upgrade of 10 badminton courts at the Benjakitti Sports Center, ensuring enhanced safety for all users.

 

 

Representing the city, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor, received the refurbished badminton courts from Mr. Visanu Suchatlumpong, Executive Director of AP Thailand Public Co., Ltd., at the opening ceremony for the Benchakitti Park Badminton Courts held at Benchakitti Sports Complex on Ratchadapisek Road.

 

Mr. Visanu Suchatlumpong said, “We at AP have a committed goal to EMPOWER LIVING ensuring everyone has Cheevit Dee Dee Tee Lueak Eng Dai. Staying healthy is part of living a good life. That’s why we offered our support to give the Benchakitti Badminton Courts a renovation bringing them up to international standards so they become a space for living quality improvement right at the heart of the city for the long-term use of surrounding communities giving society Cheevit Dee Dee Tee Lueak Eng Dai.

 

 

Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor, said, “Encouraging Bangkok residents to exercise is one of very important things and, like us, AP also attaches importance to driving society to grow together in many respects to develop people’s potential and health. Thank you AP Thailand very much for giving the support for the badminton courts. I am very confident that the space will benefit the people who use it to sustainably improve their health and living quality.”
